Walter Scarr was a character who appears in The Dead Letter Office. He is the ex-husband of Shaz, and only appears in the manga.
History[]
About five years before the series, Watler Scarr married Shaz from an arranged marriage from his parents. He subsequently cheats on his wife on various other women and is loose with his money until the banker tells him and his mother that the family was bankrupt, and abruptly pushes Shaz down the stairs, showing no concern about her condition until the banker mentions that if his wife dies the money from her family would stop supporting them. Walter disguises his mother as Shaz after her presumed death, and begins to search for another bride as he is subsequently punched by Philippe Lanois and is arrested along with his mother.
